Austin, TX Continues to See Injured Pedestrians by Allegedly Impaired Drivers



According to news reports, a 61 year-old man died on Sunday in Austin, Texas after being hit by a car that had gone out of control, hitting the 61 year-old man and another pedestrian. According to the Austin Police Department, the driver of the Lexis SUV who struck the pedestrians appeared to be heavily medicated and had recently been discharged from a hospital. According the news reports, the driver has been charged with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault. Our hearts go out to the families of the pedestrians.
