GM Issues Recall on Wiper Blades

In consumer news, General Motors has issued a recall to about 50,000 large crossover SUVs to fix problems with a windshield wiper problem. The recall impacts 2011 and 2012 Chevrolet Traverse, Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia cars. The recall targets cars registered in cold-weather states. According to reports, ice and snow can build up and restrict movement of the wipers. The problem can allow the wiper arm to come loose and malfunction.
